Hojicha is a popular roasted tea from Japan. For our HOJICHA POWDER, roasted green tea is a finely ground. Enjoy the naturally sweet taste and pleasantly mild aroma that define this Japanese tea specialty.

How to create
the perfect cup of tea

The preparation

Sift the tea powder into a bowl and add hot (but not boiling) water. Whisk the Hojicha until it's frothy. For the best results, use M-shaped moves with your wrist rather than a circular move. To make a Hojicha latte, pour the mixture over milk.

Sift tea powder into bowl. Add water and whisk 15-20 sec until creamy.

The processing

The delicate leaves and stems of our premium Bancha green tea are roasted at 200°C with constant movement. This process gives the tea its characteristic brown color and unique aroma. Our HOJICHA POWDER has a medium roast, striking the perfect balance between fresh green tea flavors and a distinctive nutty-caramel roasted taste.
