The preparation

Black teas are best brewed with hot water to bring out the malty notes of the fully oxidized leaves. Tea purists prefer to enjoy their Breakfast Tea without any additives, but in keeping with English tradition, you can still highlight the sweet malty notes by adding milk and honey.

The processing

Many years of experience are needed to combine black teas from different Indian regions into a distinctive breakfast blend with both robust and sweet notes. In our TIP OF THE MORNING, we blend about 75% Assam black tea and 25% black tea from the Kerala region.
